Star Position Sucks Update

This  is an update to the “Star Position Sucks“ post I wrote earlier today.

After doing some research online, I have found that many people have received mass amounts of un-solicted emails from the same Robert Sexton joker that contacted me earlier today.

And apparently, there have been some people who paid Star Position for their #1 spot in Google but never got it as promised.

For more information, simply do a Google search for the keyword: star position scam. And also, do a search for:star position spam.

There are many other people complaining about them.

Let all of my readers be aware - steer clear of Star Position!

    And, again, the competition engages in a wonderful bit of misdirection rather than answer three simple questions ..

    1. If what we do doesn’t work, why do we have a good BBB rating?
    2. If what we do doesn’t work, why do we have 5 references who give their consent to be called?
    3. If you’re selling a bum product, chances are you won’t keep your merchant account for too long. Too many chargebacks - which is why so many of you PPC types don’t HAVE mwerchant accounts - too many unhappy clients. We gladly take credit cards via GOOGLE CHECKOUT or PAYPAL, and our chargeback rate is somewhere in the neighborhood of zero point seven percent over a five year period.

    Comments? As in comments actually backed up by facts and not innuendo?

    I thought not .. :)

  2. Oh, and I had to laugh when we spoke on the phone and you used the comment ‘half breeds’ when describing what we do. Slightly racist term, don’t you think?

  3. Hi, Bobby. Yes, I am fully aware that you own Star Position (not sure why you keep claiming it…I definitely would not tell people that if I were you). You’ve made this point clear in the last spam-post you placed on my blog, located here: http://www.thebransonpro.com/star-position-sucks

    And honestly, as I mentioned before, only 5 clients is not really all that impressive, dude. Nobody gives a shit about your BBB rating or your 5 clients…If you only have 5, then you must be doing something wrong.

    And when you say “Comments? As in comments actually backed up by facts and not innuendo?”… I backed up everything I said about you in my previous post (aforementioned in this comment) and it is totally based upon fact.

    FACT: You lied to me about the Google PR of your own site.

    FACT: You are a spammer.

    FACT: You DO NOT sell true SEO services.

    FACT: You try to sell “SEO services” when your own site does not have proper SEO implemented.

    FACT: You make the real SEO professional’s lives hard by selling bullshit services and scaring people away from “SEO” because you do not deliver.

    FACT: You suck :)

    And as far as being racist goes - you really make me laugh. If you consider a Professional Search Engine Optimizer to be a “race” then yes, I guess I am racist against you because you are most definitely a half-breed in the SEO realm and I do not like your kind…

  4. Actually, we have nearly 3,000 clients. That’s more - yes - lying on your part. 5 give their phone numbers, websites and the whole nine. Nobody said we had just five clients.

    All the other crap you give is utter misdirection, because our track record of clients who give their phone numbers as references - which I don’t see anywhere on your site - shows we take conventional wisdom and turn it on it’s ear and actually make it work. We produce results. Period. Do we claim to have 100% happy clients? Nobody can make that claim. We do things in a unique way that actually works for most people, and for those who it doesn’t work for, we go out of our way to help them. When all is said and done, if the client isn’t happy and it’s because we somehow didn’t deliver on what we promise, they do get a refund. If the reason the client isn’t happy has nothing to do with the service we provide, then they don’t get a refund.

    I find it interesting that you dismiss a good BBB rating and references you can actually call.

    You are absolutely correct about Star Position and Robert Sexton misrespresenting their services. I was one of the “suckers” who paid and believed my company would be featured on all the search engines when anyone searched for beef jerky! The Netguard toolbar necessacity was not mentioned until we questioned why it wasn’t working. We let Star Position know we were unhappy and requested a full refund-we haven’t received it yet!

    Sure, it’s chump-change. But a bet is a bet. And you owe me. After all, a man’s word is all he has, right?

    I do not care to see any more comments from you on my blog until you honor your word and pay me.

    But then again…I honestly don’t expect to ever see it - you won’t even return your client’s money when they ask for refunds for the crappy services you sold them :)
